Founder:
Kristi Ison, founded Float Baby in 2013. A married mother of two and a baby expert, Kristi lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and their (precious angel face pumpkin pie sweet bowl of cheese) dog, Waylon. She holds a certification as an Instructor of Infant Massage. Kristi's firsthand experience as a mom has given her deep insights into the challenges new mothers face, such as managing a newborn's sleep schedule, eating habits, and fussiness.

Rising Popularity:
Float Baby skyrocketed in popularity after Kristi's appearance on Shark Tank in 2016. The overwhelming interest from parents seeking guidance on newborn care was a pivotal moment for the brand.

Innovations and Contributions:
This surge of interest inspired Kristi to develop and patent her own flotation device, The Hoverfish®, and to create an organic skin care line addressing common issues for babies. Recognizing the shortcomings of US standards for infant formula compared to European, she founded Formula 911 to connect parents with better ingredients. Kristi is also the creative force behind Houston’s latest party hotspot, Party Baby. Look for her on Destination Houston, Season 1 in September!
